About the expert
Ra’ed A. Bilbessi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration specialising in Marketing from Webster University – Saint Louis (Vienna, Austria Campus).
Upon graduating, he returned to Jordan and joined a local corporation, for which he launched new subsidiaries in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America. Having launched the California division successfully, Ra’ed was appointed as president and served for a term of six years, upon which he returned with his family to Jordan.
Mr. Bilbessi’s experience in business association management began when he was appointed as General Manager of the Amman World Trade Center. He then assumed the position of Director of INJAZ, an Economic Development Program by Save the Children – Jordan Field Office, and for which he was subsequently appointed as the first member of the coordinating committee.
Mr. Bilbessi joined int@j, the Information Technology Association – Jordan, as Chief Executive Officer in May 2000, when the association was established. Working closely with the private & public sectors – and various stakeholders, the mission of int@j, a voluntary non-profit, private organization is to effectively represent, promote, and advance the Jordanian software and IT services industry in the global market.
